The „Let’s give work to refugees 2“ project continues in the „Let’s give work to refugees“ initiative launched in June 2012, aimed at increasing the employment rate of refugees. It responds to the need to provide certain form of „premium“ service to the target group with an aim to strengthen their motivation and expert skills in a way so they could succeed in labor market and become independent and self-sufficient. The intention is for the provided assistance to be targeted and addressable, i. e. we do not expect tens or hundreds of refugees to join the project activities; on the very contrary, our aim is a long-term assistance to a few selected clients.
The project is being realized via the Pontis Foundation using the Accenture Foundation funds. Within the project, we will provide language and requalification courses, legal, social and entrepreneur business counseling. Employers will be informed about the current opportunities and labor law working conditions through leaflets and brochures. Public will learn more about the refugee situation also through activities at the Pohoda festival.
