The aim of the project "Legal Aid to Refugees" (Právna pomoc utečencom) is to provide quality legal aid to refugees, subsidiary protection holders, including asylum seekers, separated children and foreigners placed in detention, which need to stabilize their stay in Slovakia. Project activities will protect their rights in administrative procedures, support their integration and improve their acceptance in Slovak society.
Legal counselling to refugees will be provided in the offices in Bratislava and Košice, as well as in the facilities where asylum seekers and separated children are placed, concretelly in: Reception Centre in Humenné, accommodation centres in Rohovce and Opatovská Nová Ves, detention centres for foreigners in Medveďov and Sečovce, and in the children home for separated children in Medzilaborce.
